Archipel Production

For the past 10 years it has been Archipel Production's mission to tell its region's stories and to develop collaborations and exchanges between creators, producers and broadcasters from across Europe and Oceania. Firmly established in the Pacific region with an office in French Polynesia and another in New Caledonia, Archipel Production mainly produces programs made specifically for television (e.g. documentaries, magazine programs, music videos and short fictional series). Its activities range from film production for the private sector along with executive production of cinematic releases and television broadcasts to, more recently, short film productions. Archipel Production's key focus, however, is the creation of original documentaries. Whether individual films or collections of documentaries, our production team sees its mission in the re-telling of stories from the Oceanic region with a particular focus on the themes of society, history and discovery. Archipel Production's films uncover the spirit of Oceania and have received numerous awards at the FIFO (Oceanian International Documentary Film Festival) and at the FIGRA (International Current Affairs and Society Documentary Film Festival), and have been selected for international festivals worldwide. Archipel Production also specializes in magazine programs. We are at the forefront of current trends, and our editorial lines and production processes are carefully researched for each of our magazine shows. Whether the focus is on culture, youth, music or design, we take an investigative look at the pertinent issues in the region that we call home.
