Finally, APP provides a family of conventional and LEED support based finishes which are approved for use with APPI's finished panel and veneer products. This also becomes important for matching any hardwood applications that do not meet our current finishing capabilities for flat surfaces. While we do provide compatible conventional finishes to support our products, APPI will gladly test your preferred suppliers finish using our State-of-the-Art Environmental Testing Chamber. By simply sending us a part with our sealer on the panel, APP can create a "weathering event" to age the product over time to insure that the customer's preferred topcoat is compatible with our own basecoat. While we cannot take liability for the use of other topcoats, this becomes a useful tool for the manufacturer and designer in seeing the result in a tested environment if the desired topcoat must be used. A lot of our customers preferred to the pre-finished products looking for ways to save on materials and overhead since APPI is able to supply prefinished products they only have to worry of cutting and assembly eliminating the finished process and making even a better quality end product since all the finish is matched and even.
