Ardea Resources
KNP is the largest Nickel Cobalt Resource in the developed world, and has been awarded Major Project Status by the Australian Federal Government, recognising the national and strategic significance of the KNP to the Australian economy and the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. The KNP development focus is the Goongarrie Hub, located 80km north of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia - a world-class mining jurisdiction providing extensive existing infrastructure and a skilled work force. KNP is a potential multi-generational mine offering outstanding multi-commodity exposure which includes nickel, cobalt, scandium, rare earths, vanadium, chromium, aluminium and gold. Ardea is focused on the rapid development of Goongarrie towards production to leverage the ever-increasing electric vehicle and static-storage battery thematic and the growing demand for sustainable and ethical nickel and cobalt. Ardea has several additional project mineralisation styles outside of the Goongarrie goethite, all able to contribute specific geo-metallurgical types to the Goongarrie Hub. In addition to the KNP regional laterite hosted nickel-cobalt opportunities, Ardea's tenure also host significant "greenfields" nickel sulphide and/or gold prospects representing a large strategic land holding in one of Australia's premier nickel sulphide and gold provinces.
