Regional economic development and investmant agensy

Regional Economic Development and Investment Agency /REDIA/ is a non-profit making non-governmental organization that performs its activities to the public benefit and is registered in the Central Registration Database of NGOs at Bulgarian Ministry of Justice under No 20031217001. REDIA is established in May 1998 in the town of Kardzhali, Bulgaria. REDIA - Kardzhali actively supports regional policy and SMEs through provision of consultancy cervices and trainings on the application of the European and International standards, support for the sustainable development of territories and promotion of investments and innovation, development, implementation and technical assistance of projects under operational programs and the applicable measures for Rural Areas Development. The Agency maintains Quality Management System under the requirements of EN ISO 9001:2000. REDIA - Kardzhali works with more than 250 SMEs in South Central Region. The organization cooperates successfully with the NGOs, local and regional authorities - Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Kardzhali, Chamber of Skilled Crafts - Kardzhali, Regional Industrial Association - Kardzhali, Kardzhali Municipality, and Kardzhali Region Administration. REDIA - Kardzhali is one of the founders of the District Council for Energy Effectiveness. It participates in the realization of different events in partnership with local NGOs. Regional Economic Development and Investment Agency is engaged with the management of its own units - Volunteer Center and Vocational Training Center, as well as the municipal units - Business Incubator, Madan and Business Incubator, Kardzhali. REDIA is a full member of Bulgarian Association of Regional Development Agencies (BARDA).
