For over seven decades, Armstrong Ambulance has set the standard for emergency transportation in Massachusetts by providing superior medical care, dependable service and the most advanced equipment and vehicles available. The company responds to more than 45,000 emergency calls each year and delivers frontline EMS to seven communities and secondary EMS to 10 communities within the Greater Boston Area. Armstrong also provides non-emergency transportation for a large number of healthcare facilities and patients in its wide ranging service area. Armstrong employs more than 300 highly trained emergency medical services professionals. Its fleet includes 90 vehicles, stationed across 11 locations and equipped with the most advanced equipment and technology available. Founded in 1946 by a WWII Marine Corps. veteran, today Armstrong serves more than 100,000 patients annually while remaining true to Bill Armstrong's original commitment-to provide the highest quality care and service to people in need.
