On December 31st, 2014, ARTS Group successfully became the first listed enterprise (Shanghai Security Exchange) in the building design field of China. In 1994, China and Singapore officially started to develop Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) together, creating a new model of Sino-foreign economic and technological cooperation. Mr. Feng Zhengong, Chairman of the Board of ARTS Group, as one of the first group of scholars sent to Singapore, fully absorbed and introduced advanced concept and "management software" of Singapore's development. Then, Mr. Feng Zhenggong was assigned to establish Suzhou Industrial Park Design & Research Institute with Mr. Shi Kuang, a national-known master of Survey and Design, engaging in all dimensions of SIP's planning, design, construction and development with the purpose of providing engineering and technical service conforming to international practice for SIP. Since establishment, ARTS Group has completed almost all types of "First Building"(including landscape planning), First Neighborhood Center, First School, First Science & Technology Park, First Large-scale Factory, First Large-scale Complex, First 5A Intelligent Office Building, First Urban Landscape(Jinji Lake Landscape)...In 2009, Mr. Feng Zhenggong was elected as one of the 15 witnesses and practitioners of SIP development. Through over 20 years' development and construction, SIP has become a new modern city with solid economic strength, complete city function and numerous talents from a watery place. Meanwhile, Arts Group has developed to be "Building Engineering and Technology Integrated Service Expert for Development Zone (New Town)" from the initial builder and practitioner. Now Arts Group has been awarded National High-tech Enterprise, First Service Demonstration Enterprise in Provincial Building Design Field by National Development and Reform Commission of Jiangsu Province, the Most Valuable Brand among Chinese Building Design Institutes, Innovation Enterprise in National Survey and Design Industry, Quality Management Advanced Enterprise in Jiangsu Province Survey and Design Industry, Integrity Enterprise, Jiangsu Province Building Industry Modernization Demonstration Base (Design & Research) and so on. ARTS Group owns more than 1800 employees with about 280 registered staffs, and mainly engages in providing Engineering Design, EPC and Engineering Supervision & Management service in building field, covering 8 areas of the whole industry chain, namely city planning, city design, building design, landscape design, interior design, engineering management and EPC. The design projects ARTS Group completed have been presented with more than 360 national, ministerial and provincial awards, among which some obtain Three-star Green Building Design Accreditation and American LEED Gold Accreditation. Arts Group has professional advantages in planning design, concept design, complexity analysis and steel structure technology research of modern industrial building, large-scale complex, super high-rise building, innovation & technology park, cultural, educational and health-care building. In ecology and energy-saving design area, Arts Group is one of the leading enterprises. In 2012, approved by Provincial Science and Technology Agency and Provincial Department of Finance, ARTS Group sets up Provincial Research Institute---Jiangsu Province Ecological Building and Complex Structure Engineering Technology Research Center with the result of developing 3 special technics: design consultation and computational analysis of complex structure, green building design and accreditation consultation and building information technology. Up to now, Arts Group has obtained 138 Issued Patents, including 9 Invention Patents and 129 Software Copyrights. ARTS Group has acquired the following qualifications: Class-A for Building Industry (Building Engineering), Class-A for Lightening Engineering Design, Class-A for Municipal Industry(Road Engineering), Class-B for Landscape Design, Class-B for Municipal Industry(Plumbing Engineering, Bridge Engineering), Class-B for Urban and Rural Planning, Class-C for Power Industry (Power Transformation Engineering).
