Minneapolis Institute of Arts

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA) and The Walker MIA is a free, non-profit museum of visual arts from around the world. "From Monet to Matisse, Asian to African, 40,000-year-old artifacts to world-famous masterpieces, the MIA links the past to the present and enables global conversations." The Walker Art Center features contemporary visual and performing arts exhibits and programs. The center offers free gallery admission from 5-9:00 every Thursday night, and on the first Saturday of each month.
