Arvada Youth Football Association
AMFA's all volunteer organization is made of men and women who fill board positions, coaching roles and team manager positions within the league. These volunteers are committed to teach Arvada's youth how to the participate and compete in the game of football. AMFA's relationship with USA Football has created a Better, Safer Game for Arvada's youth athletes. Volunteer coaches (Head Coaches as well as Assistant Coaches) are required to obtain a USA Football Certification which includes an on-line course as well as on the field training for safer tackling and blocking techniques designed to remove the head from the game. Since 2012, AMFA has been the leading area in the State of Colorado for the USA Football certification program and are proud to continue our relationship with USA Football. We will continue to work toward learning new and improved techniques designed to make the game of football safer for all participants. Check the USA Football/Safety Tab for updated safety information from USA Football. AMFA will post updated events and league announcements on the News Page tab on the left. Please check back frequently for AMFA announcements and activities. AMFA's on-line registration begins on May 1st for athletes in 1st - 8th grades. Registration dues for the 2016 season are $200. New and returning players can register for the 2016 season by clicking the registration tab on the left. AMFA is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to those athletes who are unable to participate otherwise.
