ASAL SOLUTIONS was established in mid-2007 operating as a freelancer network of over 15 professionals and IT experts for over year. In its first year as an official company, the fledgling startup offered software development and web design services to a handful of clients who were mainly friends or friends of friends. Through viral, word-of-mouth marketing, ASAL SOLUTIONS reached a wider customer base but still ran its operations informally. By the end of 2009, the still young Company expanded its services to include web hosting services and had over 30 customers who benefited from its various IT consulting services which also included software development, windows and Linux systems administration and deployment services, network security and audit services, etc. The Company's focus since then shifted towards cultivating and nurturing partnerships that could take ASAL SOLUTION's capacity to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions to the next level. Currently, ASAL SOLUTIONS is the official partner and resellers of three IT product and service vendors including Point-of-Sale systems, satellite Internet services, and Thin Client computing vendors. The Company was officially registered as an LLC first in early 2010 in Kenya. The last year of its existence has seen to a complete make-over of its systems and processes. First of all, the company's strategic plan and a unifying vision for its six divisions has been endorsed; second, the Company has been restructured to sport six autonomous and yet complementary business divisions to ensure the measurability of the productivity of the individual business divisions, the progress and contribution to the overall mission; and thirdly, the three offices has been reactivated and had their activities and operations brought to a full swing. ASAL SOLUTIONS is currently engaged in taking the first steps to continue building its capacities and selecting the right talent that will envision, build and deploy tomorrow's technology-enabled solutions.
