Accreditation is important to ASFG because it reflects our commitment to standards of excellence. We value an external and objective review of the quality of education at ASFG and the school's commitment to continuous improvement. In addition it is an important benefit for our students as this facilitates the transfer of credit from one institution to another. ASFG hosts a review of its US accreditation every five years. ASFG's Mexican program is accredited by the Secretaría de Educación Jalisco (SEJ). ASFG's high school program is certified by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM) and our high school students receive revalidated transcripts from this institution. In addition, all ASFG Mexican program students receive revalidations from Mexico's federal institution in charge of education, the Secretaria de Educación Publica (SEP). ASFG is a member of several education groups with the spirit of sharing ideas, programs, facilities, resources, information, facilities, and experiences. The Association of American Schools in Mexico (ASOMEX) is a group of private institutions committed to offering an American type educational program. ASFG is also a member of the Asociación Jalisciense de Instituciones de Educación Media Superior (AJIEMS) whose goal is to provide a network for private high schools in the state of Jalisco enhancing the opportunities for ASFG's students and faculty
