At Ashley Ward, we have a dedicated staff that's committed to providing the best precision machined components and customer service in the industry. We have over 150 employees across 5 locations in Ohio, Indiana, and Florida. We have over 25 skilled machinists and 10 management personnel that have been with Ashley Ward for more than 20 years. When people come to Ashley Ward, they stay with us for a long time. In fact, our saying is: "Once you make it a year, you stay for life." The question you may be asking is why people stay at Ashley Ward for as long as they do. The answer is simple. We are a smaller company, which allows employees the opportunity to affect change and make a difference instead of just working at a machine day in and day out. People are willing to work harder because they have the knowledge that they can work towards something and really see the results. Additionally, we're a family owned and operated business, so our work environment is friendly and comfortable - everyone knows each other. Our employees are paid on an incentive, so in addition to their salary, they're able to earn more money through commissions, productivity and quality bonuses. Machinists are paid a bonus based on quality and efficiency, and people in the office can be paid on profit sharing. Every department has an incentivized monthly payment in addition to their regular salary. We attract people with experience who enjoy working with us, yet it's not always about seniority. Much of it is about merit and who's right for the job as far as advancing in the company.
