We are conveniently located in the David Lloyd Club next to Long Ashton Park with the city centre just 10 minutes away by park and ride bus next door. There is plenty of secure parking on site. Our welcoming, qualified team provide the care and commitment that both parent and child need, with long-standing members happy to share advice with families from their many years of experience. Parents are reassured that safety is paramount. All staff are fully trained and have been through a complete CRB and reference check, and we never use agency staff. Our large and air-conditioned rooms have a wide variety of planned activities, toys and equipment - and plenty of spontaneous fun. In the Baby Room we work closely with parents to meet babies' routines, our Nursery Room is vibrant and spacious, and the Pre-School Room is busy and exciting. Outside, you'll find a secure, self-contained garden we use all year round with plenty of opportunities for physical, sensory and imaginative play. Babies have a separate area where they can enjoy the fresh air in safety. Building brick towers, dressing up, splodging paint, exploring water play, singsongs, marching around in wellies or enjoying a quiet story, children at Bristol Day Nursery have a whale of a time. We have regular special activities for older children, who love our weekly Stretch & Grow exercise classes and walks and picnics in nearby Ashton Court country park. We offer up to eight weeks of settling-in sessions to ease the transition from home to nursery, and take the same gentle approach when children move up from one room to the next. This smoothes the process for child and parents alike and is reassuring for mums and dads, who know when they leave that their child is contented and secure. Your child will build a strong relationship with their key worker, giving them confidence and security. You'll get daily accounts of what your child has been doing from this special member of staff, as well as regular newsletters. Our own trained cook prepares fresh, nutritional meals in the David Lloyd kitchen and caters for any dietary requirements or preferences. Asquith Nurseries deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years - and a whole lot more.
