At Astwood Smiles we aim to create a secure, friendly and cosy environment that is stimulating for your child and gives parents' confidence. After all, a happy child makes a contented parent! The outdoor facility has been designed by our nursery manager Alison Byng, who is a qualified forest school leader. Alison advised many settings, both schools and nurseries, on their use of outdoor space and how to use forest school in an early years setting. Astwood Smiles Nursery has a real passion for the outdoors and we strive to get children outside as much as possible. Our wonderful environment is very homely, assisting the transition between home and nursery. Our priorities being the physical, emotional, intellectual and social well-being and development of the children in our care. The children are provided with a varied healthy diet, lots of fresh air, rest and play. We offer high quality toys and activities with a wide range of appropriate learning materials both inside and out.
