At Athens Spine Center, our focus is to provide the best care available for each of our patients. Our understanding physicians and staff concentrate on the individualized needs of each patient. Through the use of innovative techniques and collaboration with multiple specialists we strive to alleviate patient suffering and return optimum functioning and quality of life. We concentrate on pain originating from spinal pathology using a multidimensional approach in treatment. Spinal injections, physical therapy, medical psychology, behavioral assessments, and adjuvant medications, as well as opioids may be considered in treatment. Opioid or narcotic medications are not kept in our office and are reserved for select patients for whom they are indicated. We do not automatically assume or prescribe medications when patients are initially evaluated. We promise to work to manage patient pain and improve quality of life by providing the highest quality of care. We would be honored to have the opportunity to care for you. In addition to our commitment to each patient we treat, Athens Spine Center is also dedicated to furthering the future of spine care treatment. Our physicians have faculty status as Clinical Assistant Professors at the MCG/UGA Medical Partnership Campus and in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Georgia and teach senior medical students. After Hours Emergencies: Our calls are answered by an answering service after office hours for urgent medical issues. The answering service cannot process scheduling questions and/or cancellations or medication refills. These requests are handled during office hours ONLY (Phone Call Policy). If you have a true medical emergency dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Please do not leave urgent medical messages on voice mail or email for the contact list below. Voice mail or email should be used for non emergent issues.
