Athletics NWT AGM

Athletics NWT (Formerly NWT Track & Field) is working to establish a bank of NWT coaches to train and develop over the next couple years. Once NCCP trained/certified, coaches will be selected through an application process to be Head Coach/Assistant Coach when Athletics NWT field athletes for upcoming games (Canada Summer Games, Nationals, NAIG, Legions, etc.). Coaches will also have the opportunity to participate in training to become Learning Facilitators (LF) to deliver the NCCP coaching programs. Athletics NWT will provide training for new and existing coaches to develop them to take on this task. Training will be conducted in the NWT and out of Province. Coaches registered will be provided with travel, accommodation and meals to attend training/games/meet out of Province. If you are an individual that have a passion to coach Track and Field then this is an opportunity for you. All coaches will be required to provide clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable sector check.
