HERE AT ATSALIS BROS, WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON STAYING CURRENT WITH THE NEWEST IN EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, TECHNOLOGY AND SAFETY. AS PART OF THAT EFFORT WE ARE MEMBERS OF VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE US WITH ACCESS TO THE MOST CURRENT INFORMATION AVAILABLE. MICHIGAN INFRASTRUCTURE AND TRANSPORTATION ASSOCIATION IS A STATEWIDE CONSTRUCTION TRADE ASSOCIATION FORMED IN 2005 THROUGH THE MERGER OF ASSOCIATED UNDERGROUND CONTRACTORS AND THE MICHIGAN ROAD BUILDERS ASSOCIATION. THE MEMBERSHIP CONSISTS OF NEARLY 800 MICHIGAN COMPANIES REPRESENTING CONSTRUCTION DISCIPLINES SUCH AS ROAD AND BRIDGE, SEWER AND WATER, UTILITY, RAILROAD, EXCAVATION AND SPECIALTY CONSTRUCTION. THE SIA WAS FORMED IN 1972 INITIALLY TO PROTECT AND PROMOTE THE INTERESTS OF DEALERS AND DISTRIBUTORS OF ACCESS AND SCAFFOLD EQUIPMENT. MANUFACTURERS WERE LATER ADDED AS REGULAR MEMBERS. WHEN A NUMBER OF CONTRACTORS EXPRESSED AN INTEREST IN THE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES OF THE SIA, WE ESTABLISHED TWO ADDITIONAL CLASSES OF MEMBERSHIP (ALLIED AND AFFILIATE) TO INCLUDE A BROAD RANGE OF INTERESTED GROUPS. SINCE THE EARLY YEARS WE HAVE BECOME THE VOICE AND AUTHORITY FOR THE SCAFFOLD AND ACCESS INDUSTRY. THE SOCIETY FOR PROTECTIVE COATINGS IS THE ONLY NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION THAT IS FOCUSED ON THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF CONCRETE, STEEL AND OTHER INDUSTRIAL AND MARINE STRUCTURES AND SURFACES THROUGH THE USE OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE INDUSTRIAL COATINGS. SSPC IS THE LEADING SOURCE OF INFORMATION ON SURFACE PREPARATION, COATING SELECTION, COATING APPLICATION, ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS, AND HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE PROTECTIVE COATINGS INDUSTRY. THE ASSOCIATED GENERAL CONTRACTORS OF AMERICA (AGC) IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO FURTHERING THE EVER CHANGING AGENDA OF COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS, IMPROVING JOB SITE SAFETY, EXPANDING THE USE OF CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGIES AND TECHNIQUES AND STRENGTHENING THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN CONTRACTORS AND OWNERS. THROUGH MEMBER SURVEYS AND A THOROUGH DIALOGUE WITH KEY AGC CONSTITUENCIES, THE ASSOCIATION GATHERED IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE ISSUES AND PRIORITIES IT SHOULD ADDRESS NOW AND GLEANED FEEDBACK ON HOW BEST TO POSITION ITSELF FOR THE FUTURE. THE FOLLOWING STRATEGIC PLAN OUTLINES THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES THAT WILL GUIDE THE ASSOCIATION'S DIRECTION FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS. CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES OF MASSACHUSETTS IS AN ASSOCIATION THAT REPRESENTS ALL ASPECTS OF THE TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY IN MASSACHUSETTS. FOUNDED IN 1921, CIM IS ONE OF THE MOST ACTIVE AND EFFECTIVE CONSTRUCTION TRADE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE NATION AND HAS BEEN WORKING HARD TO ADVANCE THE GROWTH OF THE INDUSTRY FOR MORE THAN 80 YEARS.
