Advanced Telemetry Systems

Advanced Telemetry Systems, Inc. was founded in 1981 by a close group of biologists and electronics engineers who have a combined 100+ years of experience in the biotelemetry field. A privately-held corporation, ATS is located in Isanti, Minnesota, a rural community about an hour north of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Our facility has grown over the years to keep pace with an expanding global demand for our innovative and cost-effective biotelemetry solutions. Our most recent expansion, completed in 2004, more than doubled the size of our facility. Today, our building includes space for over 50 employees and our research, sales & service, and manufacturing operations. Throughout its history, ATS staff has been active in researching the underlying physical concepts related to radio propagation and radio direction finding. They have also been engaged in developing methods to analyze and present the resulting data. These efforts have resulted in numerous book chapters, publications in refereed journals, technical reports and conference presentations. More than 30 publications have resulted from this work. In addition ATS staff regularly present workshops and continuing education classes to our user community.
