The AUF

L'Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie is a global association of French higher education and research institutions, created more than 50 years ago. It brings together 850 academic institutions in more than one hundred countries. Its mission is to foster and support the emergence of new skills for the overall economic, social, and cultural development of societies by supporting the quality and diversity of training, research and governance models within its member institutions. Based in Beirut (Lebanon), since 1993, the Middle East Regional Directorate has a network of 66 members in 14 countries.
