Aufgang Travel

Aufgang Travel was established in a storefront at Spadina Avenue and College Street in Toronto in 1949 by Isaac Aufgang. The family business was later passed on to his son, Emile, and daughter Lea. The company flourished by serving the ever-changing travel needs of its clientele, and established itself as one of Canada's foremost experts in travel to Israel. In 2005, Emile Aufgang retired and sold his interest to YYZ Travel Group, knowing that his family's tradition of fine service and integrity would be perpetuated. In 2007, Aufgang was invited to become a member of Virtuoso, the world's oldest and most prestigious travel association. Less than 1% of America's agencies are accepted for membership in Virtuoso; and only 15 agencies in Canada are part of this network. These select agencies must meet Virtuoso's criteria for extensive knowledge and wide-ranging experience on travel throughout the world.
