Aviron Pictures' mission is to acquire, market and distribute a diverse slate of talent- and story-driven theatrical film releases that feature distinct audience appeal in North America. Based in Beverly Hills and managed by a team of respected and successful Hollywood veterans, Aviron collaborates with experienced filmmakers to shepherd their motion pictures to the screen and on through domestic home entertainment and ancillary markets, in relationship with partners such as Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and HBO. The Aviron name and logo represent our shared alignment of interests with our filmmakers, capital investors and business partners, all pulling in the same direction, with speed, skill, discipline and perseverance. The origin of the name is French: not because we are, but because there's always a little romance in the world of film.
