Backbone IT Group has been helping clients in the online environment across a wide range of sectors for over fifteen years. The company was initially founded in 1998 with a portfolio including website design, search engine optimisation and coding, services which have remained at our core to this day. Core values centre on providing web development, design and marketing services which excel for both the client and the end-user alike. To that end, conversion rate strategies and content marketing services have become a natural addition to our portfolio. The company incorporated in the UK in 2003 and shortly afterwards the first overseas offices were established in Nanjing, China in order to provide scale with the company's expansion in web software services. As time has progressed, the Chinese market has changed dramatically. As the first Western-based digital marketing company based in China, we have gained unprecedented experience in the Chinese market and how it operates. To that end, our web and marketing services are mirrored in China and, along with legal and market entry operations, we assist Western companies in gaining access to a challenging but rewarding market. In early 2013, Backbone IT Group was acquired by Oxcliffe Ltd, still with board representation from an original founding member, ensuring the company's ethos and global experience will be passed on to clients through our services in the ever-changing and exciting digital marketplace.
