Bacoban-UK Ltd was formed in 2014 with a trading relationship with the German company Ropimex (Adexano) who developed and own the Bacoban product. Bacoban has been extensively tested and certified as can be seen from the menu tab 'Product Certification". The testing and certification process started in 2006. Since then, Ropimex have developed Bacoban to become a product sold in over nine countries from Canada to Turkey and sales exceeding Euro 2m p.a. Ropimex supply a range of hospital ward equipment and sell the Bacoban product into the hospital market sector. BacobanUK Ltd was formed with the aim to market Bacoban to a wide range of industry sectors where it can perform a greatly needed role in controlling cross infections. The Ropimex Bacoban product is an anti-microbial disinfectant which is in a different class of products, technology and chemical composition to the anti-bacterial cleaning products. Growth of Bacoban sales are driven by the need for products that will not only kill pathogens, but, also give the on-going protection after application that is unique to Bacoban. The following quote from a report provided by the respected medical journal "The Lancet" identifies the issue that drives the disinfection and sterilisation industry.
