Bajaj Hindusthan through its SPV, Bajaj Energy Limited has setup new coal based power generation plants of 90 MW each in the vicinity of 5 of its existing sugar units. The five new coal based plants under Bajaj Energy were commissioned early 2012 at Barkhera (Pilibhit), Maqsoodapur (Shahjahanpur), Khambarkhera (Lakhimpur), Kundarkhi (Gonda), Utraula (Balrampur) in the state of Uttar Pradesh. All units are being operated by total number of 574 technical and non-technical experienced employees. Each station is being headed by its unit head with corporate office at Noida. BEL provides best working atmosphere with a well-established and maintained infrastructure for professional, social and personal development for its staff and their families. BEL also provides school facility for the little futures of our country by CSR initiative BAJAJ PUBLIC SCHOOL at its Maqsoodapur and Barkhera units. The company is solely devoted in power export to UPPCL, with all its thermal power plants running on Indian coal arranged through CCL linkages and domestic market. The minimu target set for station availablity is 95% and every station is acheiving it on continuous basis. With the established and developed connectivity system all five units are connected through LAN service for easy approachable communication and desirable day to day data sharing. All the units are well equipped by the latest technology and designed machinery to give best efficiency and performance. In addition, BEL also explores a healthy competition among its five units to accelerate and motivate the hard working environment among its working staff. The periodically organized technical and personal development sessions by HR department of BEL enhances the chances of learning and exploring the abilities of each individual. BEL entertains the newly groomed GET's by conducting campus selection at various renowned technical institutes like NPTI, NIT colleges, JIPT and HBTI Kanpur etc. We provide better opportunities for the young blood so that they can prove themselves and come out with the flying colors.
