Bakers' Flags and Emblems shares a rich history and heritage with Trinidad and Tobago Independence Celebration. At midnight on 30th August, 1962, the Union Jack (British flag) was lowered and the Trinidad and Tobago flag was raised for the first time. This first national was manufactured by Mr. Hilton J. Baker, the founder of Local Industry Trading, and was hoisted to the sound of our national anthem. This company was late rebranded in 1980 to Bakers' Flags and Emblems Manufacturing Ltd. We are proud to be consider the first company to manufacture a national flag in Trinidad and Tobago and by extension the Caribbean. We are also growing to be the leader in innovative designs for Independence decorations and our valued added service has made us, the customers preferred choice. With an effort to diversify, Bakers Flags and Emblems now supplies the Caribbean and International territories with flags, screen printing, embroidery and branding solutions.
