Bakkali Law Firm is one of the oldest and most established law firms in Morocco. The Firm was founded by Mr Rubio Chavari in 1938 when Tangier was under the International Administration. Mr Rubio Chavari was before hand the Finance Minister in the First Spanish Republican Government ousted by General Franco. As a Lawyer he was three times the President of the Bar of Tangier and a very well respected figure. Before his retirement, he trained the current Managing Partner Mr Abdellah Bakkali. The firm changed its name to its current name in 1990 to rebrand and take on new challenges in an ever demanding and developing legal services market. Throughout its history, the Firm has always been known for its commercial and corporate work. In fact, we are proud to say that we still represent some of the original clients' organisations for more than half a century. As an established professional legal services practice, our values are based on principle of prompt response to clients' needs.
