Bandos Maldives

BANDOS MALDIVES, 26 November 2015 - Bandos Maldives is the second island resort to welcome tourists to its shores. We have a proud tradition of hospitality that we maintain and carry forward. Over the years, Bandos has been the launching pad for many Maldivians who today are enjoying successful careers in the travel and tourism industry. We are pleased to announce the inauguration of Bandos Apprenticeship Program in collaboration with Swiss IM&H/SHML on 26th November 2015. There are 23 students enrolled in the program for this year. The program is fully funded by Bandos Maldives and successful candidates will receive a full scholarship for the first year. Bandos Apprenticeship will provide opportunities for young, enthusiastic men and women to train for a successful career in the industry. The program has a minimum number of seats and runs for a period of one year. Candidates in the program should preferably be between 16 to 20 years of age. At the end of the program, successful participants will be awarded "Certificate in Hospitality Operations" by Swiss IM&H with the possibility of continuing the second year of the program in Switzerland and earn a Diploma in Hospitality Operations.
