Barrett and Partners is a leading Chartered Accounting and Consulting Firm in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Its origins date back to 1971, when Lindsay Barrett, the current Managing Partner, established the Firm. From 1975 to 1992, the Firm operated as Coopers and Lybrand. From 1995 to 2009, the firm joined the international Firm, BDO International B.V., and now practices as Barrett and Partners in Port Vila, Vanuatu. In 1997, the local Firm of Stafford and Associates merged with the Firm and Mark Stafford became a Partner. In 2004, Barrett and Partners further expanded by merging with the French local Accounting Firm of E.C.A. Today, Barrett and Partners is one of the largest Firms in Port Vila, and enjoys a reputation for providing efficient, high quality service to its clients, both locally and internationally. Besides operating a traditional accounting practice, providing audit, consulting, insolvency and management services, the Firm, through its own trust company Trustees International Limited, licensed to provide Corporate and Trustee Services and Funds and Portfolio Management to its overseas-based clients.
