Baraka Foods was formed as a partnership, originally making Mediterranean vegetarian snacks, which we sold in restaurants, and indeed on the streets - we understand how demanding your customers are. The business is still managed by the original directors, and we are justly proud of the support of our lovely local workforce. We are all passionate about what we produce, and most of us have worked together for many years. We are able to produce for both Retail and Foodservice trade, both chilled and frozen. he business has operated from the present site for 10 years, and has recently built a large freehold extension - the factory occupies 13,500sq ft on a 25,000sq ft site, and is purpose designed. The business is accredited to BRC standard, grade A, is Red Tractor licensed, and has been awarded a "True taste" Gold award. We have a maximum capacity of many thousands of units - we operate 4 packing lines, and are highly efficient and flexible. We are able to produce Sous Vide and conventional styles of prepared foods, in a variety of formats, and are able to provide retail carton packs on site.
