Barloworld's earthmoving and power systems segment moves Caterpillar bulldozers, Freightliner trucks, Perkins engines, and other top construction and industrial equipment brands. A vehicle usage segment pushes dealerships that sell, rent, and operate fleet services for passenger, and light, medium, and heavy commercial makes such as BMW, Ford, and Volkswagen. Barloworld also deals in materials handling (Hyster lift truck distribution and fleet ops) and logistics (management and supply chain optimization). The company has operations in over 40 countries around the world with over half of its employees in South Africa.
