Founded in May, 2004, Barrier Free Lifts, Inc. is the North American headquartered in Ocala, Florida. In addition to its location in Florida, Barrier Free Lifts, Inc. has offices located in Virginia, Texas, and California. Cecil K. Rider, the Owner and President of the company, has over 10 years of experience in the patient lift industry, and the company has over 20 full-time employees throughout its various offices. As the company has grown, Barrier Free Lifts, Inc. recognized the importance of owning better facilities to meet customer demand, and purchased its current location at 1620 SW 17th Street in Ocala, Florida in 2011. With a network throughout the United States and Canada of over 250 independent dealers, Barrier Free Lifts is able to readily serve individuals, caregivers, and health care institutions with its extensive line of patient lifts, lift slings, and bathing systems.
