Barrington UMC

Barrington United Methodist Church has more than 170 years of history in the Barrington, Illinois area. Our mission is to build a community to worship God and create disciples to serve all people. We work toward this mission through offering opportunities to worship, grow in faith by studying God's word, connect to God in prayer, and to serve others. We began as a group of settlers in 1840 and have grown to a congregation of more than 1000 people. Our most recent church building was completed in 2003 at the corner of Algonquin Road and Route 59 in Barrington Hills. We serve the Northwest suburbs of Chicago having members from Schaumburg to Huntley and Geneva to Riverwoods. We welcome you to visit us to connect, grow and serve.
