BARRY CONCRETE
Barry Concrete was founded in 1947 by Charles Weldon Barry Sr. "Tex" when he returned to Lafayette, LA after working as an electrician wiring Higgins Boats in New Orleans during WW II. The business ownership was transferred to Charles Weldon Barry Jr. "Buzzy" and his business partner Theo Laborde in the late 1970's. Upon Buzzy's untimely death in 1991 Buzzy's wife Bonny Barry became the President and CEO of Barry Concrete and kept the business running with the help of business partner Theo Laborde. To this day the company is being run by Bonny's youngest son, Patrick Barry. We are proud to be a locally owned and operated 3rd generation managed Ready Mix Concrete Supplier who has helped build Lafayette and the surrounding Acadiana Parishes from roads and bridges to the Cajundome and Federal Courthouse and Chase Towers building. No job is too large or too small for Barry Concrete we supply concrete for everything from dog kennels to residential and commercial buildings to heavy civil and industrial projects.
