Bates Trucking Trash Removal, Inc. is a wholly owned minority enterprise. Bates Trucking is a family owned and operated entity. It was first established under the leadership of John Bates, Sr. in 1960 as a Commercial Refuse company. Bruce Bates took leadership of the company and aggressively established an impressive fleet of trucks. He expanded and diversified the company services to include a large residential and recycling base, as well as commercial and government services. Today, Bates Trucking has three (3) locations; the corporate office located in Bladensburg, MD and locations in Anne Arundel County, MD and Springfield, VA. Currently Bates employs more than one hundred twenty (120) people and our staff is made up of skilled, conscientious professionals with an average experience base of seven (7) years in the waste management industry. Our management staff average more than fifteen (15) years service in the industry.
