Bath-Knight
Bath-Knight is a family run business based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Annette Greenwood established the company in 1994 and still runs it today. The Bath-Knight was invented in 1989 by Bill Steadman, Annette's father. Bill is a designer, inventor and engineer by trade. In the early days, Annette worked alongside her sister and they took on the task together. It was not long until the hard work started to pay off. Bath-Knight soon became a household name in the homes of the elderly, aiding people to get into and out of the bath. Joyce, Annette's mother was a willing Bath-Knight model and became the first true Bath-Knight babe. In 1999, Annette's son, Robert, joined the company as Marketing Manager and like his mother served his apprenticeship as one of Bath-Knight's successful sales advisors. Robert now sells Bath-Knights in France and Italy. Alan, Annette's husband also joined the family business in 2001. Alan took control of the factory and manufacturing where all our Bath-Knight's are made. In 2003, Annette's daughter Lucy joined the company and successfully sold Bath-Knights in her university holidays. When she graduated, Lucy took the position of Marketing Manager. Today, Lucy is the Call Centre Director. Due to continued growth and expansion, in 2004, Bath-Knight moved to a new premises breathing life into a disused Royal Doulton factory and warehouse. The company is celebrating the 25th anniversary since the invention of the Bath-Knight bath lift this year. Bath-Knight is still growing today and we are here to help you stay independent with our range of bathing solutions to suit your needs.
