Bay Ridge Center

Since 1976, Bay Ridge Center (BRC) has improved the quality of life for older adults in the Bay Ridge community of Brooklyn by providing vital resources to help them successfully age in place, support their independence, and promote their well-being. BRC's services include evidence-based falls prevention programs (including A Matter of Balance and Tai Chi for Arthritis), home-cooked congregate meals, more than 25 exercise, technology, wellness and arts and culture classes weekly, case assistance, friendly visiting, shopping, and transportation. Additionally, BRC provides 650 home-bound residents with Meals on Wheels seven days a week (110 of which are kosher). With over 1,000 active members, Bay Ridge Center is the largest and most dynamic facility serving adults 60+ in southwest Brooklyn.
