bazaruto renewables develops renewable energy projects in sub-saharan africa. our aim is to unlock renewable energy potential in sub-saharan africa by (co-)developing bankable renewable energy projects across a subset of technologies and countries. bazaruto considers projects at all stages of development. while our main technological focus is hydro (run-of-the-river) and wind, bazaruto explores techno-economically viable project development opportunities in solar. bazaruto currently holds development rights to a portfolio of renewable energy projects in countries in eastern and southern africa, each at various stages of the development cycle. our strategic goal is to successfully develop a sizeable and diversified portfolio of renewable energy projects in sub-saharan africa within this decade.
