BC Marine Services is an independent and privately owned company, based in Asmara, Eritrea which offers a fast response to clients needs with a level of service unsurpassed in the area. Vessels and premises can be attended at a moments notice almost anywhere in the country. BC Marine Services is Lloyd's agent in Asmara, Eritrea and sub-agents in Massawa and Assab ports. Our surveyors are drawn from seagoing personnel with additional wide-ranging experience in surveying and other marine related matters, and shore trained staff, which enables the company to operate with a high level of skill and experience on behalf of its clients. Our quality and professionalism policy is ascertained by our staff's achievement and carrier development plans which some have acquired Diploma in Marine Surveying, from National Sea Training Center in collaboration with The International Institute of Marine Surveying, UK. Others also undertook qualifying examinations of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Our principal surveyor is member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying and our operations manager is member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. BC Marine Services offers a comprehensive survey service to a wide range of clients including, Cargo Insurers, Loss Prevention & Indemnity Insurance (P&I) Clubs, shipowners, Average Adjusters, Banks, Shipping Agents and Individual clients. The company receives instruction from virtually every type of organisation connected with the operation of ships, movement of cargo or seagoing personnel.
