In 2006, BCSB expanded to Adams County by joining with Golden State Bank in Golden, Illinois. In 2010, BCSB became part of United Community Bancorp, Inc. and since 2014, now serves customers as United Community Bank throughout Central Illinois and Northeast Missouri.
