Begafigo

Begafigo was founded in May 2002 to give opportunities of experience the thrill and friendship that only sailing can bring. In 2005 was awarded with an athletic recognition certificate by Cyprus Sports Organization and in 2006 was honoured by the Cyprus Sailing Federation for upgrading sailing in the island. Today the club numbers 270 members, a fleet of 60 monohull & multihull dinghy sailboats and 16 Sailing Yachts birthed in Larnaca Marina. Begafigo maintains coastal & offshore sailing academies and runs a Club based championship, as well as participating in National championships in classes of Optimist, Laser and Open Sea.
