Belfast City Airport
GBBCA operates a Work Experience programme consisting of a 3 day work shadowing placement from Monday to Wednesday. The Airport accommodates up to 60 students each year. Our Work Experience Scheme is now co-ordinated by the Charter Programme which is operated by Business in the Community and is open to anyone aged from 14 to 17 years of age and is ideally suited to those interested in pursuing a career within the Aviation Industry. All requests for work experience should be made by contacting Joanne Mehaffy, Charter Project Manager on 02890 451444 or by emailing [email protected] Requests for work experience must be made by the School Careers teacher. Please note requests for work experience will not be taken from students, parents, relatives, friends or any person other than the School Careers teacher. The Airport is normally only able to take one student from any one school per week and unfortunately is unable to offer placements during public holidays or the months of July, August and December.
