BENESTRA is a B2B focused national telecommunications operator that provides a comprehensive portfolio of voice, data, Internet, and hosting services with contractually guaranteed quality. The service portfolio is being constantly expanded taking into account the ever-growing demands of both the Slovak and the international customers. BENESTRA, formerly GTS Slovakia, until 31 May 2014, was part of the GTS Central Europe group. Following GTS CE group disposal to Deutsche Telekom, it has been operating as a separate entity, and from 1 December 2014 under BENESTRA brand. GTS was established in 1993 as a subsidiary of the American GTS Inc. The company entered the Slovak market in 1999. Since a merger of five companies operating on the alternative telecommunications market in 2006, it has been operating as GTS Nextra. In 2010, thanks to yet another acquisition, it was expanded by Dial Telecom and reinforced its position as one of the most important telecommunication operators.
