Here are some stats about our team and the way we work that should get you pretty excited: At the time of writing we employ 25 people from all over the world (Spain, Morocco, India, Philippines, Romania, Australia, Kenya, Latvia, Bangladesh, Egypt and Pakistan) who worked a total of 10,043.55 hours from January 1, 2015 to November 10, 2015 generating $365,188.95 in revenue. These people have never met, and do not even communicate on a daily basis outside of pre-defined processes and documentation. Each person is responsible for doing their job and delivering their work to the next person in the process. This has enabled business owner Iain Dooley to not only take "real" time away from work, but also to focus more on STRATEGY rather than OPERATIONS. So The Procedure People is a Working Software Group company ... why is a software company selling a consulting product to increase business capacity? Positioning is the most important part of any marketing strategy. It involves not only identifying a market need, but also developing an affordable way to access that market and deliver services profitably. Most software services companies try and sell themselves as "do it alls" without identifying who their ideal client is and what services they really need. At Working Software Group, we want to work with profitable small to medium sized businesses that are having trouble scaling their infrastructure to accommodate business growth. Through our own market research we identified that the creation of policy & procedures documentation was a challenge faced by businesses that are within our target market, and something people regularly look for help with. It's also a capability we have developed internally as a result of documenting, systemising and automating our OWN business, as well as those of some of our clients. Since working with businesses to create good SYSTEMS also lends itself naturally to the task of AUTOMATING some or all of those systems (and either choosing or building software to achieve those goals), selling our services to help with the creation of policies & procedures makes a lot of sense as an entry level product.
