"We like to operate within a 150-mile radius of Mobile," said Ben Jr., noting that the company is licensed in Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana in addition to Alabama. The main reason for confining its work area, he said, "is this is a family-oriented company. We have a lot of long-time employees with children, and they want to stay with their families as much as possible. We've been fortunate that we haven't had to travel great distances to secure work."
