Berkhamsted School

Berkhamsted School is one of Britain's leading independent schools, with over 450 years of history and tradition. It is a Day and Boarding school offering a 'diamond' structure that combines both single-sex and co-educational teaching. Boys and girls are taught together until the age of 11 (Berkhamsted Prep), separately from 11 - 16 (Berkhamsted Girls and Berkhamsted Boys) before coming back together again in a joint Sixth Form (Berkhamsted Sixth). Academic achievement is of great importance but we also emphasise the vital role played by other activities such as sport, drama, art, music and outdoor adventure in giving our pupils a broad educational experience.
