Traina Enterprises Incorporated was founded in 1981 by Doug Traina when he purchased Park Marina in Cartersville, Georgia. Over a 35 year period, the company has successfully grown from one marina to an extensive enterprise that includes nine divisions: Marinas Boat Sales Boat Rentals Boat Service Marine Retail Hospitality Food and Beverage Real Estate T.E.I began with just 2 employees and only $100,000 in annual revenues. These collective divisions have now over 400 employees that staff 5 Georgia marinas, one marina resort in Indiana, 5 boat dealerships in Georgia, and land lease and rental properties. As of 2012, the company has annual revenues exceeding $35mm.
