Best Places was created to be a credible, trustworthy site, where potential retirees could find information in an atmosphere free from hype and marketing "come-on's. Consistent with this, we made it so that there's a complete absence of anybody trying to sell you anything anywhere but at a clearly defined vendor area on the site. In the future, Best Places will include a separate Marketplace and Vendor Q & A, which will provide a low stress, highly credible and useful way for you to contact the vendors you can trust, most likely already known to you as someone who provided you with value by giving a good answer in the Community Q & A area or providing a good Expat Story.
