Beyond the Rainbow is a mail order company that specializes in Judy Garland and Wizard of Oz collectibles and has been in business since 1985. Elaine Willingham is the founder and proprietress. Others who assist with the business and/or web site are: Jimmi Willingham, Tina Cassimatis, Francine Gallo, Kurt Raymond, Steve Cox and Stephen Sisters. Elaine is the co-author of Cooking in Oz with Steve Cox. Beyond the Rainbow Collector's Exchange newsletter was published from 1990 through 1997, view back issues in the Orange section click "Archives". We ceased production of the newsletter on July 4, 1998 when we launched this website. Beyond the Rainbow has hosted several Oz Rendezvous events and/or Oz exhibits, at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the Culver Hotel in Culver City, California, the Dorothy Gage Memorial Garden in Bloomington, Illinois, Borders Books, The Magic House and Powell Symphony Hall in St. Louis. On April 2, 2000 Oprah Winfrey paid a visit to our "The slippers - yes, the slippers! page in the (orange) Archives/Oz History section. Guided by Jerry Yang the co-founder of Yahoo!
