Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham

For 42 years, Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham, Inc. has been committed to providing a safe environment where children and teens have an opportunity to learn, develop, and are ultimately inspired to be the best that they can be. We are proud to work with young people from a wide range of economic, social and family circumstances, regardless of their gender, ethnic and racial background . The Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham currently serves over 1100 deserving boys and girls in Stoneham, Wakefield, and the surrounding communities. We currently operate one facility in Stoneham and recently opened a satellite unit in Wakefield in the lower level of the Americal Civic Center. Our facilities are designed for youth, and our staff is trained to offer high impact, fun, and safe programming. Additionally, the Club provides programming developed and tested by the Boys & Girls Club of America in five core program areas: character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, and sports and recreation. Our Club is open Monday through Friday after school, with special programming on Saturdays as well. Our Mission: "To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."
