For 114 years, Birmingham Hide & Tallow has had one business philosophy: take care of your customers, and the rest will take care of itself. We've followed the path laid down by our founders, and achieved a great deal of success. So much, in fact, that the time has come to update our name a bit. If you're blessed to stay in business for over a century, it turns out you have some interesting things to deal with. Take the proud name of our company, for example: Birmingham Hide & Tallow. As proud of it as we are, we've come to see that it just doesn't describe who we are or what we do any more. For starters, we now offer service in more than 20 states, not just one city. And, to be perfectly honest, it's been quite some time since we've bought or sold any hides. That's why we've decided the time has come to change our name to something that's more reflective of who we are, not who we were when we first began serving our customers more than a century ago.
