Big Sky Mobile Catering

Big Sky Mobile Catering was established in 1986. It is a Montana based company with a proven track record for excellence in its more than 25 years in the mobile catering business. We specialize in providing emergency and routine mobile food services to Federal and State Governmental Agencies, and Private Enterprises throughout the United States. We have a mobile food service contract with the United States Forest Service; this contract has provisions for providing mobile food services to other Federal and State agencies through the National Interagency Fire Center. We have also contracted or subcontracted directly with Federal and State agencies, such as FEMA and the National Guard. Private Enterprise activities that we have served are Bike rallies, remote construction sites and large company picnics. We have developed expertise in supplying large numbers of personnel and crews performing emergency operations in remote and urban areas throughout the United States. The company has provided mobile and fixed site food service for wild land firefighters, emergency relief and recovery operations following hurricanes Katrina and Rita, mine waste cleanup in Idaho, restoration and remodel of Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone during the winter, a railroad tunnel collapse in Montana and Montana National Guard operations. Big Sky Mobile Catering is a close held Corporation with six shareholder owners. The company has four mobile kitchen units and is part owner of a mobile shower unit and a private catering company. The business model and operation policy of the company is to have an owner manager with hands on responsibility for each kitchen unit while in operation. The four current owner/managers bring a combined 100+ years of food service experience to the table.
